About
Hi! I’m Sasha, an Estonian-born editor and director based in London. My work is bold, dynamic, and visually striking. I focus on contrast, movement, and creating imagery that leaves a lasting impression.
My aesthetic is shaped by my upbringing — the rawness of post-Soviet architecture, the tension between structure and chaos, and my early experiences with underground gigs and raves. However, people are my number one inspiration, so they often become the focal point of my work. I’m obsessed with color, and I grade my own films to ensure every frame hits exactly as it should.
The music I use plays a crucial role in shaping the mood of my films — whether it's fast-paced beat or melancholic, ambient tones, I choose sounds that enhance the emotional depth and impact of the visuals.

Photography
Photography and filmmaking have always gone hand in hand for me. I first picked up a camera when I was 16, and since then, capturing images has been a big part of how I see the world. I pay attention to details, color, shape, and composition — all of which naturally influence my approach to filmmaking.
Most of these photos were shot on 35mm film in the UK, Spain, Turkey, Estonia, and Thailand. They reflect what catches my eye, what interests me, and what ultimately finds its way into my films
